PROFILE:
Mel was born and brought up in Prestatyn, North Wales. She graduated from The Univesity of Aberystwyth in 2004 with a BSc(Hons) in Zoology. She moved to the Ross On Wye Area in April 2006 to look for a ‘proper job’ to use her degree, but ended up working for the Scudamores!! Which she loves! Outside work, Mel rides her own horse Maisie (Maisemore) who used to be in training at Eccleswall Court, and is enjoying giving show jumping a go at local shows. Mel lives in Redmarley with her dog Harry Parry.

HORSES AT WORK:
Mel’s all time favourite horse is Jacksons Pier, who she looks after and rides, but since working here has also enjoyed looking after Espoir Du Bocage, Arumun, Graham’s Girl, Sail And Return, Dark Energy and Chandlers Cross. Favorite rides currently include Graham's Girl, Finzi, Beauchamp Prince and anything safe! Oh and Waynesworld, although he's not always very safe!!
