PROFILE:
Martin started riding race horses at the age of 12 and was employed as apprentice jockey for Capt Ryan Price when ? years old. He is a keen sportsman and has taken part in 10 marathons, many bungee jumps and sky dives to raise money for charities, and completed a 700km mountain bike ride in aid of hospice care. He has enjoyed traveling and working in many countries.

Martin lives in Sellack near Ross on Wye, he is a little on the crazy side, loves a drink and likes the odd practical joke.

HORSES AT WORK:
Horses he looks after include Gloucester, Gunslinger, Society Venue, Command Marshal, Fourpointone & Klampenborg AKA Dave!
Martin’s favourite ride is Klampenborg, but he also enjoys and finds it rewarding riding the youngsters.

BEST MOMENTS IN RACING:
Riding his first winner Dutchtreat at Brighton on his thirteenth ride for the late Capt Ryan Price.
