We would like to invite you to join our exciting new Racing Syndicate, connecting England and Gloucester rugby star James Simpson–Daniel with racehorse trainer Michael Scudamore.
The main aim of this syndicate is to join together like minded people who enjoy racing, rugby and cricket, to offer a unique sporting experience. As well as James, there are other top sportsmen from Gloucestershire such as Gloucester and New Zealand cricketer Craig Spearman who are keen to become involved and attend many of the social events we aim to organise.
With planned visits to Gloucester Rugby Club, Gloucestershire Cricket Club and Cheltenham Races as well as some golf, regular stable visits, mornings on the gallops with James and, of course, days at the races to see your horse run.
Simpson-Daniel & Scudamore Racing offers an ideal way for you to enjoy all the benefits of being a racehorse owner for a one off yearly payment.
A suitable horse, currently 'Roussea', will be leased to the syndicate throughout the year and will be trained by Michael at his yard in Bromsash, Herefordshire. You will recieve regular updates on your horse and will be welcome to come and see him at the yard as often as you like.
The cost of a share in this sporting syndicate is £1500 + VAT per person per year. Places will be strictly limited to 20 people, to ensure all members are able to participate in the activities organised throughout the year.
After a recent visit to the yard, James commented, "I love the yard and the surroundings- it is a real working farmhouse and yard- I feel really at home here" (Gloucester Rugby Programme 11.10.08). Like James, we hope you will have many enjoyable times whilst being involved with our yard.
